My first year in China I really desired to have something to take care of which lead me to buy a puppy for Christmas! I didn't realize what I was getting myself into. Now six Christmases later and still living in China, I'm so thankful to have a pet to love on and be loved back in such a transitional environment. As I write she is curled up next to me on my heater blanket. She may be extra work...but sure worth it!!!
